Event Directors

The event directors are David Turnbull of DC Turnbull TaeKwonDo and Steve Blanton of comBATON. Master Turnbull is the president of Florida AAU TaeKwonDo and sits on the AAU’s national rules committee. He is a former national champion in TaeKwonDo and a former Ohio state champion in college wrestling and the founder of the Florida TaeKwonDo Federation. He’s been the director of many tournaments and has hosted state championships. Many of his students are state and national champions in forms, sparring and point sparring.

Steve Blanton is the founder and Commissioner of comBATON and tournament director of all comBATON tournaments including the championships at the Disney Martial Arts Festival in Orlando, Florida.
